Special message from Bob Proctor: Michael Beckwith is not only a dear friend, he has for many years provided me with spiritual guidance that I could not place a value on. Here is an opportunity for you to tap into this man’s wisdom. Let yourself think about what he is saying. Stay in contact with him – get on his mailing list and you will find it is one of the wisest moves you have ever made. I love Michael and the work he is doing. All of the people at Proctor Gallagher Institute look up to this man and value his guidance.
Experts tell us it could happen to anybody. In fact, they quote statistics that support identity theft as being one of the most rampant crimes sweeping across America. We listen, take their recommended precautions, and just when we’ve convinced ourselves that the odds of being included in these statistics are equal to winning the lottery, the wake up call arrives!
I speak from personal experience. And when it happened, I immediately put my gifted IT team to work, which led to the discovery that postal forms were submitted that rerouted all of my mail to Kenya. To my relief, everything was resolved without dire repercussions.
My approach is that whatever happens in my life is rich material to include in my spiritual practice. In this instance, I was ushered into an exploration of the spiritual scope of my relationship to personal identity: Is it solid, or fluid? Who is the monolithic “me” that is described in resumes, tax returns, in social media, certifications and licenses? Is it even possible to identify oneself with accuracy?
Upon deeply contemplating these questions, I concluded that the most dangerous identify thief to be on the lookout for is oneself! If this surprises you, consider how your answers to the following apply to your relationship with your sense of identity: How quickly do you discount yourself as an irreplaceably unique being and enter the game of social politics, compromising yourself to fit in and be accepted by your peers, clients, employer, colleagues, a spiritual teacher and his/her community, or a social group? In what ways does the daily news, social media, and advertising influence you to compromise your life’s vision, values, and commitments?
Ultimately, no person or life event can steal your true identity, nor can you even steal your own. When through your spiritual practices and inner work you realize that what constitutes your cosmic identity is the inherent, indestructible, essential aspect of your being, you will activate the gifts, talents and skills you have come to deliver on the planet. When you give your unconditional “yes” to authentically being who you are, from the boardroom to the meditation room to the kitchen sink, the uniqueness of your being becomes a conscious, co-creative agent with Spirit, applying its universal Laws of Manifestation to create abundance in all of your life structures. You hear the Ineffable whispering in your ear that everything you could ever hope to be is already who you are. You will never again compromise your authentic identity.

In 1986 Michael Bernard Beckwith envisioned a spiritual community which, in his own words, would be “…a multi-cultural, racially diverse, trans-denominational movement whose universal teachings and practices offer a path to individual spiritual awakening and a collective realization of humanity’s interconnectedness, enabling the emergence of twenty-first-century change agents of the possible.”
The Agape International Spiritual Center was founded upon that vision and has steadfastly remained faithful to its guiding principles for three decades. Recognized throughout the world as a model of racial diversity, compassion and selfless service, many thousands of individuals of all ages, spiritual backgrounds, ethnicities, and walks of life attend Agape’s services, classes, and special events locally and live stream them globally.
And that is why, on the occasion of Dr. Beckwith’s birthday and the year of Agape’s 30th anniversary, I invite you to join me in making a financial donation to the Agape International Spiritual Center in support of its ongoing mission to awaken, connect and cultivate the evolutionary impulse seeking to express through the One Heart of all humanity. Please visit http://agapelive.com/mbb-bday/and contribute today.
I thank you in advance for your heart of generosity in giving rise to what’s possible through the unfolding of our grand collective cosmic potential.
