Since Easter just passed, the statement that’s been going through my head all week, I’m finding very apropos.
‘The moment your belief matches with any state you fuse with it… and this new state of conscious awareness becomes your home from which you view the world.’
No matter what our beliefs are, we all believe in something.
We fuse with that belief & it becomes part of the fabric of who we are.
That’s awesome.
And a huge responsibility.
It means we’re in charge.
In charge of our beliefs. In charge of the flow. The direction.
‘I’ve got this.’
‘It’ll never work out.’
‘But what if I’m wrong?’
‘What if I’m right?’
‘What if I fail?’
‘What if I fly?’
Interesting…
Faith & worry.
Two opposite ways to view the same situation.
We need to believe in something invisible for either one.
Isn’t that wild?
Worry = belief something bad can happen
Faith = belief something good can happen
It takes just as much belief either way.
So why do we spend so much time worrying???
Isn’t it just a colossal waste of time?
But it’s just so easy. So natural.
I used to spend many waking hours worrying. I often felt sick to my stomach thinking about future events.
I thought it was normal.
Then one day I just gave it up.
It was like a bad habit.
One I had gotten very comfortable with.
I gave it up and adopted faith instead.
It wasn’t easy.
It wasn’t hard.
It was just a decision.
I was tired of living with a pit in my stomach waiting for something bad to happen.
It just required some focus…and repetition. A LOT of repetition.
And I noticed that letting worry go, allows room for faith to grow.
We don’t even have a verb for faith – “faithing” is not a thing.
But it should be.
So today my friend, I guess I’m saying, have faith.
Faith in your dreams.
Faith in yourself.
Faith in the direction you want to go.
Faith in your future.
Faith in love.
God has got your back. The universe is holding you tenderly. Everything on the planet is conspiring for your happiness.
Take a chance. Take a risk. Step out. Your spiritual DNA is perfect.
Go step out in faith and create your masterpiece.
The world is waiting.
