I recently asked our team to look back at our blog posts over the past year and pick a Top 10 List.
The criteria for making the list were posts that offer a unique perspective or provide practical tips and strategies to help you move your life forward.
Compiling this list was fun and eye-opening. Not only did it give us a chance to think about the impact the ideas and suggestions hopefully had on your life, but it also gave us several exciting ideas about ways to better serve you moving forward.
If you missed one of these posts, make sure to read it before we ring in the new year. If you’re feeling stuck or frustrated, I hope you’ll find something that will pick you up, dust you off, and get you moving again.
Without further ado, here are our 10 favorite blog posts for 2019:
#10: Get Honest About Yourself and Your Goals
The Big Idea: If you ever fall short of reaching your goals, you may be wondering what you have to do to reach them. In this post, I discuss an aspect of goal achievement that is rarely talked about: aligning your beliefs with your goals.
It’s important to do this because we cannot act apart from our beliefs. So when our beliefs don’t line up with our goals, we get stuck because our beliefs control our actions, and our actions create the results we get in life. This post contains a powerful self-assessment exercise that helps you finally recognize what’s keeping you from achieving your goals.
#9: 7 Tips to “Proctorize” Your Budget
The Big Idea: The word budget probably doesn’t bring anything positive to your mind. However, as is often the case, Bob has a simple and unique way of turning our thoughts on a subject upside down.
Bob’s tips aren’t anything like what we learned in school or anywhere else for that matter. Regardless of what your present financial position may be, creating a budget that contains Bob’s seven tips can make you wealthy beyond your dreams.
#8: 10 Concrete Actions to Step Into Confidence
The Big Idea: In this post, Bob debunks the idea that anyone doesn’t have confidence. He says everyone has it; it’s just that each person feels more confident in some areas of their life than others.
If there’s something you want to be, do, or have, but you don’t feel confident that you can do it, this post shares ten practical ways to increase your confidence, on an emotional level, so you can accomplish your desire.
The Big Idea: Most of our readers are already aware that expressing gratitude each day can improve their lives. So, Bob takes a turn in this post and offers some new information that many people have never heard of—scientific evidence of how gratitude affects us mentally, emotionally, and physically. He also shares practical strategies to train your brain for a better life.
#6: 7 Tips for Overcoming the Fear of Change
The Big Idea: I love this post from Bob because it addresses something we all must face, whether we like it or not: change.
Bob shares seven practical tips that show you how to lean into life’s changes instead of resisting them. Then, you can step out of your comfort zone, where you are destined to fail, and enter unchartered territory where your growth and success awaits.
#5: 5 Strategies to Become Your Own Boss
The Big Idea: We hear from a lot of people who are interested in starting a business and becoming their own boss. I went from working at law offices to running a law practice to being CEO of PGI, so this is a topic I know a lot about.
Becoming your own boss can be one of the most rewarding things you’ll ever do. However, it takes some getting used to. So, in this post, I share five uncommon strategies that have worked well for me (and several people I’ve coached) to cultivate a winning entrepreneurial mindset.
If you missed this post and you’re thinking of becoming your own boss, make sure you take a look at it and then share your biggest takeaway.
#4: Seven Universal Laws at a Glance
The Big Idea: This post made the list because everything in the universe operates by law, including the results you get in every area of your life. Having a basic understanding of each of these laws and using your understanding to work in harmony with them, helps you become a master at creating what you want.
#3: How Not to be a Law Breaker
The Big Idea: Bob explains that the laws of the universe can be summed up in a single sentence. Once you really grasp the meaning of this straightforward statement, living a happier, more successful life becomes very simple.
Whether you missed this post or not, I encourage you to take a second and third look at it to help you remove the obstacles to your success and start moving toward your goals and dreams.
#2: 7 Attitudes of People Who Prosper
The Big Idea: Developing a positive attitude that leads to prosperity requires more than plastering a smile on your face and trying to think positive thoughts. While it certainly goes deeper than that, it may be simpler than you think to get there.
In this post, I share seven simple, easy-to-implement tips that can help you develop attitudes—or ways of being in the world—that allow you to think richer thoughts and attract more abundance into your life.
#1: What We’ve Got Wrong About Anxiety
The Big Idea: Many, many people suffer from anxiety. After studying the mind for nearly 60 years, Bob has concluded that, if a person understands how their marvelous mind operates, there’s no reason to be in a state of anxiety. In a way that only Bob can do, this post walks you through, step-by-step, how to eliminate anxiety from your life and replace it with something far more beautiful.
I know that might sound impossible right now, but it won’t when you watch Bob’s powerful and detailed illustration. Once you understand the valuable information that Bob shares with you (you’ll need to watch the video over and over), anxiety and other destructive states can start to disappear from your life, and you’ll be more in control of the results you get in life.
