Every day felt like the same old story: complaining about our bosses, working around the limitations at our jobs, and just living for the weekend.
My friend Evan and I would call and talk every morning on our commutes to work. “There has to be more to life than this. There just has to be.” After being so fed up with knowing and feeling like there must be something more, I said, “The next idea we get that makes our heart skip a beat, we’re going after it!”
Later that month, while driving down the New Jersey shore, it suddenly came to me. “Evan, I got it!” We were ready to go all in and create a personality first dating app.
Now, I wish I could tell you there was a happy ending to that story, but sadly, the idea didn’t work out as planned. Instead, we ended up ruining some friendships, learning a lot of difficult lessons, and crashing and burning. And yes, we were still driving to those jobs we hated.
Even so, we didn’t give up on finding that “something more” we longed for.
When we first discovered Bob Proctor’s material, we practiced it religiously. Things just started happening. Even the jobs we dreaded got better.
With this new perspective, life made sense, and it helped us realize why our past ideas hadn’t worked out. We were definitely not acting in accordance with the Universal Laws.
With our newfound knowledge and the dots of our past connected, our search for that “something more” was stronger than ever. So strong, in fact, that we both left our jobs. Evan finally ended a five-year negative relationship, and we created a successful distribution business.
Our lives were transformed (cue the bright lights and angel noises). Everything was going great, we had money on our minds, and boy was it coming in, baby!
Self-employed and living the dream…woohoo!!
Then came an unforgettable night, five years after the Jersey shore drive. We were sitting outside on the most perfect of October nights, chatting about just HOW UNBELIEVABLE all of this mindset and law of attraction material had been and how much it changed our lives.
“Why didn’t everyone know this? Why weren’t we taught this in school? Why isn’t it easier to stay consistent with it?”
BINGO
ZAP
BANG
Like a shooting star, the idea hit. We looked at each other, eyes wide, and said, “Let’s build a personal development app.” We were going to share this life-changing material with the world and build the best platform for everyone’s personal growth.
Finally, the feeling of desire, that search for something more, was lit up brighter than ever!
It was a divine thought. We looked at each other and knew that we had to go all in, or as Bob would say, “Bet the farm.”
We did exactly that. We stayed up for the next 24 hours, working through the night to develop our business plan. Then, the next day, we shut down our distribution company.
And yes, this time we succeeded!
“Set a goal you can grow into.”
When you set huge goals, everything you go through is necessary in order for you to be the person you need to be to reach them. Big goals have big risks and big rewards.
But we learned that the search for something more starts in the heart. Our desire to share this material with the world, as I’m sure all of you who practice it have felt, is what has fueled us.
We knew this was going to help millions of people and we could revolutionize an industry.
Throughout this new journey, there have been so many times when we hoped and tried to manifest things to go a certain way, and the universe made it NOT happen, only to make something better occur.
From avoiding first-round investors who turned out to be scam artists, to missing out on an office space, and finding an even better one for half the price. From spending $25,000 to go to the Matrixx event in 2019, only to get turned down for a partnership with PGI, then to go on to meet current team employees and raise more than $25,000 from our friends we met at the event. AND as of just a few months ago, we formed a content partnership with the legend, Bob Proctor and PGI. Amazing!
And, our latest? Our second round of Venture Capital funding got pushed back and a new law came into place on the EXACT day we formed a partnership with PGI, which allows us to let everyone who shares, believes in, and lives by this material an opportunity to invest and own a part of the company.
You truly can only connect the dots looking back. Things might not make sense in the moment, but looking back, they will make you break down in tears. Everything is being done to make you grow into that person you’ve always felt you were deep down inside.
Be open to letting the universe do its thing for you, even if it doesn’t make sense at the time. It will at some point.
That search for something more, is a search that only gets clearer and better!
